How does this class seem different from other English classes you've had in the past?

    The first thing that I noticed is different is doing all my homework on the computer.  I am used to doing my homework on paper and then typing it on the computer.  In this class you not only do your homework on the computer, but also on the Internet.  This is the first class that I have done all my homework on the Internet.  In this class you don't just do a rough draft of what you are going to write, you just type it.  In this class you can work on your homework really just about anywhere you want as long as there is a computer that has the FrontPage program on it and has access to the Internet.

What have you learned by using computers in English?

    What I have learned by using the computer to do my homework.  I think that using the computer has helped my keyboarding skills.  I think that typing my homework has increased my typing speed.  I learned how to make my own webpage.  I have never done that before so I find it fun.  Using the computers to do my homework is cool because I get a chance to learn how to use software that is new to me.  I have never used FrontPage before, so to get a chance to use it to make a webpage is really educational.  It is cool that you can just go on the Internet to see what all you have done in Sophomore Composition.

If an outsider visited your site, what would you hope he or she would think about it?

    I would hope that they would like the site, that it wouldn't be too dull. I hope that they would think about how organized it is and how easy it is to understand how to use it.  I hope that they would look through my web page with interest and realize how much the stuff on my web page relates to real life.  I would hope that they would see how much time and effort I have put into this web page.  And i also hope that they would respect what I have done, and not make fun of it or comment about how bad it is.  I hope that they would like what they saw, after they came to my web page, and that they would show other people my site.

What has been most challenging or frustrating for you in this class and how have you met the challenge or overcome the frustration?

    The most challenging or frustrating part of this class for me would have to be making up homework.  I came into the class later than everyone else, so I have a lot of homework to make up.  Otherwise, this class is a fairly easy class.  I haven't yet overcome this problem, but I plan on overcoming it in the near future by just turning in my homework that I still have out.  I think that if a person were to just complete and turn in the homework, they would pass the class with no problems.  Once I get all my homework in I should have an A or B in this class.
